I know I already tweeted and posted this but I haven’t blogged it yet. XD Me and Life were interviewed by JC Cuadrado and I really want to smack my face after that. I did something so embarrassing yet, it was really fun! Hahaha~
Anyway, the 2nd Philippine Kpop Convention was freakin’ awesome! It was my first K-event and at the same time, was my 21st birthday. I don’t know if I can still blog the whole details since the event was a week ago and I really had no time to go online. So…
What happened…..
I went to PICC at around 7 am and I thought the call time was 6 am. Shit, I woke up at around 5 am (supposedly me and Life will meet in Taft Station at that time) and I’m so thankful that my cousin woke me up (she has a 6 am duty) and I was really in a hurry that time. My sisters and my aunts were texting me “Happy Birthday” but I really can’t answer them at that time. From Makati Med to MRT Ayala Station, that was roughly 15 minutes or probably 20 minutes. Then from Ayala to Taft Station just for a few minutes. Since I really don’t know how to ride a jeep, I just rode a taxi. Supposedly the traveling time from Taft Station (MRT) at early morning was 15 minutes, I guess. It took us so long to reach the PICC for some factors. 1. I don’t know where’s PICC. I only know CCP 2. I don’t know if the taxi driver was just making himself stupid. LOL. I reached the place at around past 7 am. Then here I go, I was in PICC alone and no one to talk to. T.T I’m glad after 15 minutes (perhaps) the committee let us in for the ingression and I met Daph (T-ARA Ph)! We had no idea what to do with our booth. I was waiting for our standee to arrive and waiting for some of our staff and I was so glad CL arrived. The standee arrived at past 9 am and it really created a scene! Imagine seeing 6 life-size handsome standees, phew~ . And from the start til the end, Supernova Ph’s booth was filled with people and some were asking a permission if they can get a picture with our standees (especially Sungje). I think flippish bothered to interview us because of our standees, which really stand out in the event (among rookie fcs)

When my staff told me that there were guests already inside the venue, I immediately went to Cass Ph’s booth to buy my stuffs. I made a good decision b/c by afternoon, most of the stuffs were sold out. I bought the AKTF shirt, necklace, key chain, Cass Ph’s lanyard and it costs P630. I didn’t buy the umbrella because I’ll have a hard time bringing it home. One of the staffs who assisted me, said “Wow~ shopping.” LOL. I really saved my money for those stuffs. I also got my Cass Ph’s membership card. And I found out I’m a member since May 2008. ^^ Then by around 5 PM, just a perfect time, I went to Cass Ph’s henna booth. I got one which says, 찾았다 (Chajattda), and it means “Found You.”
Back to Supernova, I also got my copy of their first album, Beautiful Stardust, and I am so glad I asked Life to save me a copy from our concessionare! It only costs PhP750 (I thought it’s PhP900) and it was so cheap!!! We also did our Jude Law Pose for Kwangsoo’s Jude Law Pose Contest. I actually didn’t win but one of our staff but at least, he recognized his fans club from the Philippines!
I did some booth hopping and also visited my friends’ booths, FTTS Ph and Davichi Ph. And also bought some stuff from SOB Ph and Miss A Ph. I did a total splurge. I guess I spent almost PhP5K. HAHA~
Oh, our booth was beside T-ara PH and our place was so perfect! Thanks Life for picking number 9. Haha~
Around past 12 noon, a staff from Flippish came to our booth and asked me who they can interview. I pointed my finger to Life and called her. The staff pleaded for an interview but Life dragged me too! And then, JC Cuadrado came to our booth and he even asked for an interview! My part was so embarrassing. I really want to pop out of the scene during the interview. It was my first interview and it was live in flippish! *smack* I am not sure about his question but if I’m not mistaken, he asked me, ‘How did we started Supernova PH and how I became a fan.’ So I told him my story and said, I’m a fan since 2008. He was surprised and he even repeated,”2008?!” After that, he asked me randomly…
“JC: Among the six guys, who’ll you marry?”
Me: Him, Kwangsoo *points to Kwangsoo*
JC: Can you bring him here?”
Me: Sure, *grabs Kwangsoo*
JC: You heard the man, Kwangsoo. You better take care of Bea.”
After that, he thanked us for an interview. I really want to smack my face after that. It was so embarrassing! Not only just the people in front of our booth saw what I did, the people watching flippish at that time saw it. T.TI really need that video! I want to show it to Kwangsoo!!! At least, Supernova especially Kwangsoo got an exposure. ^^
The event was continuous til 5:45 PM. Due to there are lots of people who were coming in our booth, we didn’t mind about the program. Haha~ But I know, we’re happy and I am soooooooo happy that I also got a photo with Min Hero Ortiz, Hero’s Kosplayer. Thanks to Allaine for taking us a picture.
And hopefully, next year, Supernova PH will be known and of course the boys and we’ll gain more members and fan boys! *wishes* Hopefully there’ll be Supernova cover boys. Hahaha~ RAWR!!
And yay~ Sungje's brother greeted me with Happy Birthday!!! I super duper LIKE IT TO THE NTH POWER!!! woohooo~

My 6 days Red Cross training is finally over. Right after Kpop Con, I enrolled in SFA – BLS training.
And it wasn’t easy. I surprised myself in this thing. But it was fun.
You’ll feel everything in this training.
Pressures and body pain and exhaustion.
I thought I cannot finish it and I had a thought of quitting, but hey, I finally got my certificate of attendance! ^^ And after 2 months, my certificate of completion. ^^
I experienced in this training the techniques in bandaging and even transferring. Shit~ That was sooo hard!
I also did Basic Life Support which is CPR.
I almost faint due to lack of oxygenation. Pwahahaha~
Oh, I also experienced how to become a victim!
During the final simulation, I was an unconscious patient with hand and spine injury and had seizure for two times. Acting like a victim with seizure was so hard. I don’t know how to do it! I just moved my feet and hands and I heard one of my classmate said, “Classmate, wag naman ganyan.” LOL. That was so funny!!!!!

I forgot, a policeman came near me. Thank goodness, I was with a volunteer! She explained to him that we only had a drill for first aid. So, it was ok. Then I heard him said if he can take my picture and post it to Facebook. I was like @.@. Shit, No way! I told him no. haha~ Magkakalat ng iskandalo si mamang pulis. XD. Buti na lang Malabo ang cam ng phone nya. Hihi~

I missed being a scrub nurse and I read some not really an additional information about the Operating Room Teams.
Operating Room Team
When a patient is about to undergo a surgical procedure direct patient care will be pass on to the operating room personnel. The operating room (OR) team is responsible for the well-being of a patient throughout the operation. This team should not only consider the patient’s privacy but will also promote safety measures for the patient. One way of promoting safety of patients inside the OR is by preventing infection from the surgical incision that will be done.
As described, the OR team is similar to that of a symphony orchestra. There are many members in an orchestra but they work together in unison and harmony to create a superb outcome. The operating room (OR) team does the same thing. They coordinate their work with each other to have a successful operation.
Classification of OR team
There are two types of OR team according to the functions of its members.
Sterile team members
Surgeon
Assistants to the surgeon
Scrub person (either a registered nurse or surgical technologist)
Unsterile team members
Anesthesiologist
Circulator
Biomedical technicians, radiology technicians or other staff that might be needed to set up and operate specialized equipment or devices essential in monitoring the patient during a surgical operation
Operating Room Team: Sterile Personnel
The members of the OR sterile team will do the following things:
Perform surgical hand washing (arms are included).
Don sterile gowns and gloves.
Enter the sterile field.
Handles sterile items only.
Functions only within a limited area (sterile field).
Wear mask.
Operating Surgeon
The surgeon is a licensed physician (MD), osteopath (DO), oral surgeon (DDS or DMD), or podiatrist (DPM). This professional is especially trained and is qualified by knowledge and experience for the performance of a surgical operation.
Responsibilities of a surgeon:
Preoperative diagnosis and care of the patient
Performance of the surgical procedure
Postoperative management of care
Assistants to surgeon
During a surgical procedure, the operating surgeon can have one or two assistants to perform specific tasks under his/her (operating surgeon) direction. The responsibilities of a surgeon’s assistant:
Help maintain the visibility of the surgical site
Control bleeding
Close wounds
Apply dressings
Handles tissues
Uses instruments
Types of Assistants to Surgeon:
First Assistants could either be:
A qualified surgeon or resident in an accredited surgical education program. The first assistant should be capable of assuming the operating surgeon’s responsibility in cases of incapacitation or accidents.
Registered Nurse and surgical technologists that have a written hospital policy permitting the action.
Second Assistant could be a registered nurse or surgical technologist. These staff should be trained and they mar retract tissues and suction body fluids to help provide exposure of the surgical site.
Scrub Person
A scrub person could be the following:
Registered Nurse
Surgical technologist
Licensed practical/vocational nurse
The responsibility of a scrub person is to maintain the integrity, safety and efficiency of the sterile field throughout the surgical procedure.

I made up my mind to tell my dad that we discontinue our subscription to our net provider, Digitel. This is too much. I always go to their office telling them that my internet again landed onto 8 kbps instead of getting 1.5 MBPS. Oh by the way, they improved a little. They were able to connect my internet reaching into whooping 1.3 mbps in less than 4 days. Nice one. But I'm not happy anymore. Ayoko na. Naiinis na ako. I'm paying PhP1,500. We're wasting our money. I'll just use smart bro after reformatting our desktop.
Another... there's someone who is being bitchy to my mom. They're saying my mom's desperate for money because my dad's sick! Oh no~ My horn's growing. It's already December and I can smell my birthday, Philippine Kpop Convention and of course, Christmas! *sniff*
I'm quite excited for Phil Kpop Con b/c it's the same date as my birthday and luckily, my parents allowed me to go to the event without giving me money. I knew it, I already saved enough money. So my plan, I'll be in Makati a day before the event which is on December 10, b/c I have to be early in PICC to arrange our booth. Another good thing and thanks heaven, they allowed me.
And it's almost Christmas... I'm planning to buy a new phone on that day. Kyaaaa~ I still haven't tell my parents yet because they're gotta kill me. LOL
P.S. One of my December wishes is to get a slot for Red Cross Training after the Kpop Con. ^^ I hope so~
